Mom's Notes |
The Mom’s Notes presentations have been written by Joey and Carla Link, National Ministry Overseers for Growing Families International, to give practical application to the biblical principles learned in the GFI parenting curriculum, Growing Kids God’s Way (Let the Children Come Along the Virtuous Way). The 40 presentations that comprise the Mom’s Notes give detailed explanation and suggestions on how the principles in GKGW can be used at each stage of a child’s growth and maturing process.
Please note that the Mom’s Notes are intended for those parents who have completed Growing Kids God’s Way (Let the Children Come Along the Virtuous Way). Without the foundation of that curriculum, the teaching and notes can easily be taken out of context.

Revealing the Truth |
It is probably not new information to you that for years there are individuals and organizations that have attempted to discredit the work God has done through the GFI ministry and Gary & Anne Marie Ezzo. Many of us have experienced the first hand the frustration of reading or hearing others speak of the ministry knowing full well they were not speaking truth. It was evident the person had never been through a class or read the book. They were only repeating the wrong thoughts of others. If you, like us wished there was something we could do, take heart, something has finally been done.

The Naperville Illinois GEMs Fellowship group has developed some teaching aids to help reinforce the principles taught in the GFI parenting curricula. They include:

An expanded version of the Discipline Flow Chart from 'Let the Children Come Along the Virtuous Way" that is a great single page quick reference for alumni or graduates of the class.

An obedience hand that is a visual aid to help children of all ages learn the principle of first time obedience with a happy heart that will respond to the needs of others.
-
A set of Reflection Cards that are a practical teaching aid to help a child learn to think morally. They are especially effective in helping a child slow down and work through repentence, forgiveness and restoration.
